Developing, commissioning and start-up for twin natural gas compression plants.

To enhance oil production, twin natural gas compression plants were developed in the Furrial and Punta de Mata fields. These state-of-the-art, turnkey facilities were designed to support gas-lift operations by compressing and injecting natural gas into mature oil wells, significantly improving recovery rates and stabilizing production. Each plant features advanced gas treatment, dehydration, and compression technologies, ensuring efficient and environmentally responsible operations. CH4 led commissioning and provided start up assistance, as well as 6 months of operation and maintenance.

Design of 11MW hybrid power project

CH4 successfully delivered the design of 11 MW Moengo Power Project in Suriname, showcasing its expertise in high-efficiency, hybrid energy solutions. The project featured five containerized dual-fuel generating sets, capable of operating on natural gas or crude oil, and designed for maximum flexibility and reliability. With the highest efficiency rating for dual reciprocating engines in its class, the plant provided 11 MW of dependable thermal power, complemented by an additional 11 MW of clean solar energy through a photovoltaic (PV) system. This integrated approach demonstrated CH4’s commitment to innovative, sustainable energy infrastructure tailored to the needs of dynamic and remote environments.

Development of GTE 300MW combined cycle and NGL facility

CH4 led the development of the GTE 300MW Combined Cycle Power Plant and NGL Facility in West Bank Demerara, Guyana—one of the country’s most ambitious energy infrastructure projects. With an investment of $759 million, this turnkey project includes a state-of-the-art 300 MW combined cycle plant, a natural gas liquids (NGL) facility capable of processing 50 MMSCF of gas per day, a 60 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), and a 230 kV substation to strengthen grid reliability. CH4 successfully completed the engineering, procurement, and planning phases, and secured project financing. This development marks a transformative step toward cleaner, more efficient energy generation in Guyana.

30MW/30MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)

CH4 strengthened its leadership in advanced energy solutions with the implementation of a 30MW/30MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for the GTE 300MW Combined Cycle Power Plant in Guyana. This system was designed to ensure grid stability through an ultra-fast response (<500 ms) for frequency and voltage regulation, providing critical support to gas turbines by dynamically compensating for fluctuations between power generation and demand. This state-of-the-art solution integrates a DC Block composed of 22 high-density lithium battery containers with smart climate control and a Battery Management System (BMS); an AC Block featuring a Power Conversion System (PCS) consisting of 6 dual inverters with power stations, medium-voltage transformers, and UPS systems; a Power Distribution Center (PDC) with medium-voltage switchgear and auxiliary systems; and an Energy Management System (EMS) based on the Experion SCADA platform and Control Edge PLC, enabling safe, intelligent, and highly reliable operation. With this implementation, CH4 reaffirms its commitment to technological innovation and the delivery of strategic solutions for critical operations in high-impact energy markets.

EPC Twin Natural Gas Compression Plants

CH4 delivered advanced natural-gas infrastructure through twin compression plants engineered for performance, reliability, and efficiency. At a total capacity of 25 MMSCFD, the plants increased pressure to 1,200 PSIG for safe and efficient pipeline transportation. Each facility was equipped with gas sweetening and dehydration systems to protect product quality, plus four 7200-hp Caterpillar 3608 engines mated to Ariel 1200-psig compressors for reliable, continuous service.
This project reflects CH4’s commitment to delivering turnkey EPC solutions that meet the highest standards while sustainably supporting growing energy demand through innovation.

Vesta Engineering: Residential & Commercial Building

Located in Guaynabo’s San Patricio sector, northeastern Puerto Rico. This five-level building blends modern living, functionality, and sustainability.
A design of fifteen apartments in total—eleven one-bedroom and four two-bedroom units—plus a fully equipped gym, two integrated office spaces, and a terrace with kitchen.
The building incorporates solar photovoltaic panels on the rooftop, a backup emergency power system, a fire protection system, a modern access control system, and CCTV monitoring for maximum safety.
Also designed for accessibility, all apartments accommodate guests with disabilities.
In total, the project delivers 32,912 ft² of construction, integrating residential, commercial, and sustainable features in one modern development.

Modular EPC Workshop for Heavy Equipment Maintenance – Saudi Arabia

A containerized EPC workshop in Saudi Arabia, engineered for efficient, reliable heavy-equipment maintenance.
The project included a 3-bay workshop for heavy machinery, supported by four 40-ft containers and a 5-ton overhead crane for safe handling. On-site accommodation with all essential amenities ensured full operational support.
As a containerized solution, the workshop was fully installed and operational within 3–4 months, meeting urgent client needs while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and durability.

Comprehensive Overhaul for Gas Compression Plant in Bahrain

PV-Powered Remote Engineering Solutions

CH4 provides off-grid, containerized photovoltaic power generation systems with full plug-and-play capability, designed for rapid deployment in remote and challenging environments.
Each system is delivered complete with Battery Energy Storage (BESS) and inverters, ensuring continuous, reliable power supply.
Available in two configurations : 25 kWp integrated in a 20 ft container, or 84 kWp in a 40 ft container.
Applications: Remote oil-well pumps, industrial and agricultural water pumping, and off-grid utility operations.
Engineered for modularity and high efficiency, these systems cut environmental impact and ensure long-term reliability in the most isolated locations.

Power-Generation Rental Fleet

CH4 provided a robust fleet of rental power plants strategically deployed to guarantee reliable energy supply across multiple locations. These turnkey solutions deliver flexibility, rapid deployment, and high efficiency to meet the dynamic needs of industrial, utility, and emergency applications.
Together, these facilities represented an installed rental capacity exceeding 74.5 MVA, delivering scalable and dependable generation wherever it was required.

OFFSHORE MAINTENANCE

Performed specialized preventive and corrective maintenance on compression systems, covering both gas lift compression packages (1,300 PSI) and gas injection compression packages (3,000 PSI), ensuring continuous and efficient offshore production. The scope included two (2) Caterpillar G3616 compressor packages (4,300 HP each) and two (2) Caterpillar G3606 compressor packages (2,800 HP each). Through this intervention, was ensured reliability, optimized equipment performance, and extended the lifecycle of critical assets under demanding offshore conditions.

OFFSHORE MAINTENANCE – NATURAL GAS PRODUCTION PLATFORM

On-call corrective and predictive maintenance for critical power systems on an offshore production platform.
The scope included maintenance of power generators, switchgears, MCCs, and electrical boards, ensuring operational reliability in the harsh offshore environment. The platform’s electrical system comprised two Marathon MagnaMax gas-fired generators (100 kW each), and a 100 kW diesel backup.
These activities guaranteed uninterrupted power, minimized downtime and enhanced platform safety and efficiency.
